Practice and procedure - Land disputes.

Facts: Respondents filed two claims in respect of land at Fort Hill, Tortola. The appellants objected and the matter was referred to Adjudication Officer. Officer decided that the second appellant and second respondent should show the demarcation officer the bounds of the land of the first appellant left to her by her father. On appeal, counsel on both sides conceded that the decision was not a proper adjudication of the dispute.

Held: Matter remitted to the officer to determine the rights of the parties according to the provisions of the Land Adjudication Ordinance, 1970.

1 This is an appeal against the decision of the Adjudication Officer delivered on 20 ^th February, 1973.
