Practice and procedure - Land disputes.
Facts: These were appeals from the decision of the Adjudication Officer. The officer conferred with two people after which he arrived at his decision. No evidence taken on oath.
Held: This was not a proper adjudication. The matter was remitted to the officer to determine in accordance with the provisions of the Land Adjudication Ordinance, 1970.
These 4 appeals were heard together by consent. They are all from the decision of the Adjudication Officer dated 19 th July, 1972.
One of the grounds of appeal in these matters is that the decision is not based upon the principles of adjudication set out in section 16 of the Land Adjudication Ordinance, 1970, (No. 5 of 1970) as amended.
